Legal Assistant / Receptionist

Piskel Yahne Kovarik, PLLC, a Spokane-based law firm, is seeking a legal assistant/receptionist to join our team. Applicants should possess strong organizational skills, be able to manage simultaneous tasks and deadlines, and work effectively with attorneys and clients.  Responsibilities:

·      Answer and route phone calls

·      Receive and manage visitors

·      Manage conference rooms

·      General office duties such as stocking kitchen and office supplies, enter payments, sort and distribute mail.

·      Legal clerical support such as scan, save, and organize documents; enter information into our client management database; close files.

 Desired Qualifications

·      Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·      High level of proficiency with MS Word and Outlook (proficiency with Excel a plus)

·      Organizational and time management skills

·      Reliable and punctual

·      Ability to work independently and with a team

·      Paralegal Certificate (in progress or complete), AA, or BA preferred

·      Possess reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
